 Nineteen UUCW members, including our minister, went to General Assembly recently.

 Held in Minneapolis the weekend of June 26th, discussed were issues such as whether to boycott Arizona as the 2012 site for GA, and our country's state of environmental devastation. One activity included standing in solidarity with other denominations on the side of love at a PRIDE Rally (for the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people) at Loring Park. General Assembly (GA) is the annual meeting of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations (UUA). Because the UUA is governed democratically, each UU congregation sends delegates to this annual meeting to help do the business of the UUA.  Find out more at http://www.uua.org/events/generalassembly/
