Library News and the Book Table

Library News and the Book Table

Plan to visit the Library Committee’s monthly Book Table in the Community Room this Sunday, April 8. Books on the April Soul Matters theme of Emergence will be featured.

The Book Table will also feature new Library additions. They include three books on gender identity recommended by Alex Kapitan and donated by Joyce Cable. They are: Redefining Realness: My Path to Womanhood, Identity, Love & So Much More by Janet Mock, Gender and Sexuality for Beginners by Jaimee Garbacik, and Beyond Magenta: Transgender Teens Speak Out by Susan Kuklin. Also new is Runaway Inequality by Les Leopold, which is a basic book about income inequality.

Library materials may be checked out for four weeks. Please return them to the library on the lower level, or they may be returned to the May 6 Book Table. Do not return them to the Book Nook. Any questions contact Carolyn Lawrence, Library Committee Chair via the church office.
