The food collection in September will go to the Pewaukee Pantry where over 200 families are served each month. Because of the current economic conditions, the number of families needing assistance is growing.
Now through October is the most difficult time for food pantries to keep nonperishable food on their shelves. When most families are on vacation, donations go down drastically. Your donations would be greatly appreciated to help neighbors in need. Thank you to Tom Kotlarek who has volunteered to deliver UUCW donations to the Pewaukee Food Pantry.

If anyone knows of a pantry, large or small, that would like some non-perishable food and a check for $100.00, please contact Ellen Newbauer or Melanie Weston via the church office. Thanks for your help with this committee of the Social Action Council!
