The ROC-19 Task Force continues to meet regularly via Zoom to discuss current COVID data and to advise the Board regarding re-opening to in-person services.  The latest data over the past week has shown a marked decrease in new infections and hospitalizations, however numbers are still critically high.  The task force will meet this week and if case rates continue to trend downward, it may mean that we can start to prepare for re-opening in early March.  The Board will be informed when re-opening criteria has been met; the Board would then need to approve the decision to re-open to in-person services.  Criteria are as follows: Case rate of <1000 (positive cases per 100,000), and COVID hospitalizations <10%.

Meanwhile, continue to follow all precautions: get vaccinated and boosted, wear a hospital-grade mask, and avoid poorly ventilated spaces and crowds.  Better days are coming!

Sincerely,

Stephanie Wahlen
