Whether looking to continue something from last year or ready to start anew, see below for the variety of options. Then follow the directions provided to sign up. Facilitators will provide intro materials and confirm final details prior to the first meeting. Keep an eye out, too, for other programs starting later in the year!

Voices of the Mystical Tradition – Facilitated by Rev. Jill

Mystics have been described as people who glimpse the sacred at the heart of ordinary life—and whose experiences transform the way they live in the world. In this six-session series, we’ll encounter six remarkable voices from the Christian mystical tradition: the Desert Mothers and Fathers, Julian of Norwich, Meister Eckhart, Teresa of Ávila, Howard Thurman, and Thomas Merton. Discussion and simple contemplative practices will help us engage the spiritual themes in their work and in our own lives.

No prior knowledge is needed—only curiosity and a willingness to slow down, listen deeply, and discover what wisdom these extraordinary seekers might have to offer us in our own spiritual journeys today. This group is covenanted* and involves short but substantial pre-reading for each session. Questions? Reach out to Rev. Jill.

  • Wednesdays, 1:30-3:00PM. (October 21, November 17, December 16, February 17, March 18, April 21.)
