Groups for Fellowship

Black Lives Matter Reflection/Action Group
This on-going group is open to all who wish to work on dismantling racism, oppression, and white supremacy by learning, acting and reflecting.

DUUversity Theater
Attend dramatic, musical and fine arts productions together featuring different cultural groups either as the theme of the work or as the performers in order to support diversity in and around the Milwaukee area. Discussions afterward, usually with dinner or over coffee and wine.

Great Books Discussion Group
By shared inquiry group members help each other understand and enjoy interesting books. Participants share their perspectives; uncovering new and deeper meanings.

Labyrinth Ministry Group
Join in labyrinth walking on an occasional basis for personal growth, spiritual deepening, and community-building.

Meditation
Shared meditation to reinforce your own practice or to experience meditation as a beginner. Our first meditation is 45 minutes. After a break, optional meditations fill our meeting time.

Men’s Breakfast Group
Meets monthly for breakfast and conversation — all adult males are welcome.

PieceMakers
Experienced and novice quilters meet to sew quilts that benefit the church and the greater community.

Tap Roots: A Pub Spirituality Group
Enjoy a monthly free flowing discussion of life’s deep questions, over beverages and snacks at a local pub where attendees may purchase their own refreshments.

UUCW Adult Choir
All voices welcome to sing music both ancient and modern weekly in rehearsal as we prepare for worship performances.

Wisdom & Whimsy
This group for Mature members and friends of UUCW who wish to meet with other seasoned elders for fun, fellowship and other activities.

Women’s Book Discussion Group
Members read fiction, nonfiction, biographies and autobiographies and discuss books and authors and sometimes current events in the community or church. All women are welcome.
Join a Team
Committees and Teams are UUCW’s heart and hands. Through them, members help make our congregation lively, spiritual, fun and well-run. Anyone can join most teams and committees (a few are elected by the congregation or appointed by the Board), but only members can chair them.
