Do We Need a Committee on Ministry at UUCW?

This question and many others will be explored by the new Committee on Ministry Task Force. During their June meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the formation of a Task Force to study the topic of Committee on Ministry (CoM), especially as it pertains to the needs of our congregation. The members are Chair Laurie Boddie (representing the Board), Patricia D’Auria, Karen Engelking and Jim Weitzer. Our charge includes researching CoMs, conducting a needs assessment at UUCW, and making a recommendation to the Board of Trustees.

If you are in a position of leadership, you may have already been interviewed by one of us. To broaden the scope of congregational input, we’re also considering hosting an interactive dialogue, a World Café type of discussion. More details to come on that.
