UUCW member Donna Hensel died last December. Donna joined UUCW in 1983 and was a member for over 35 years.  She generously left a significant bequest to UUCW in recognition of what this church community meant to her.  Her family reached out to us last week and asked to deliver the bequest in person.  Rob and Karen Zimmerman met with her daughters Lynne and Sally, their significant others, and a granddaughter.  They shared memories of Donna and her time at UUCW.  It was moving to hear how she found her church home and the joy that brought her.  She made many friends here and found Unitarian Universalism to be a faith that reflected her values. You can read more about Donna’s life in her obituary.

Donna’s gift to our church is a reminder that designating UUCW as a beneficiary in your will help support this church, its mission, and liberal religion in Southeast Wisconsin for future generations.
