“Paris to Pittsburgh” Documentary Viewing – Sunday, September 22 – 11:30 am
Held at UUCW, this National Geographic film examines the changes Pittsburgh has made towards energy efficiency, even as the US withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement. It may provide a hopeful road map for the future. The film looks at the effects of climate change on regular people who are dealing with its repercussions on their local towns. And it captures what’s at stake for their communities, and the inspiring ways Americans are responding.

Energy Innovation & Carbon Dividend Act Presentation – Sunday, October 13 – 11:30 am
Join us at UUCW for a presentation to learn about a practical solution for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act has been promoted by the Citizen Climate Lobby (CCL) and introduced into the US Congress (HR 763). Presented by Phil Smith and Mike Jury, Environmental Engineers and members of CCL.
