Animals help human beings a lot! We know that loving and being loved by a pet can be wonderful, helpful, even life-saving – especially now in our time of social distancing. Today we go a bit deeper, remembering that the very word “animal” comes from a Latin root that means “soul.” Today’s service includes a Blessing of the Animals Ceremony.
