A few passes through our newsfeed can leave us overwhelmed, disheartened, and drained. We are reminded how much hopelessness permeates our world and daily lives. How can beauty and creativity help us rediscover abundance and joy? Could we learn to craft lives of hope in rhythm with the Creator? In-person worship starts at 10:30 am at United Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 506 N Washington Ave, Waukesha 53188 with visitors welcomed from Lake Country Unitarian Universalist Church (LCUUC) and Unitarian Universalist Church West (UUCW). There will be no service at UUCW, the building will be closed.
Come for service, then stay for a welcoming potluck lunch! No sign-up is necessary.
Carpool to UUUC! Please meet at UUCW’s east Parking lot at 9:15 am. After confirming drivers, cars will depart at 9:30 am for United UU.
About UUUC’s Pulpit Guest: The Rev. Elizabeth McCord serves as Chaplain to the Carroll University community in Waukesha. To nurture spiritual awareness, build community, and encourage service to others, Rev. McCord provides a spiritual presence and program leadership to students, faculty, staff, neighbors, and alumni.
UUUC’s Accessibility and Childcare: The main door is wheelchair accessible. A ramp runs along the side of the building, starting at the handicapped parking at the back of the lot. Childcare is available during the service.
