The earth-centered holiday of Beltane honors the turning of the year from spring to summer, and the crossing into the bright and growthful half of the year. Blooming flowers invite us to dream, but ancient wisdom remind us that the earth needs our energy to thrive.
After the service – come to UUCW for a Ribbon-Tree Ritual and a Labyrinth Walk in honor of World Labyrinth Day in the East Parking lot.
The first outdoor, in-person event of the year at UUCW will take place on Sunday, May 2 from 11:30 – 1 pm. Join Rev. Suzelle and EarthSpirit Team members in the east parking lot at UUCW for a Beltane Ribbon-Tree ritual, delicious cookies, and a labyrinth walk in honor of World Labyrinth Day. Please wear a mask and bring the kids — all ages are welcome! If you’d like to help with the event, contact Rev. Suzelle as soon as possible. We expect this to be the first of a series of outdoor, in-person social events to help us reconnect with one another!
