Tosa Members – Will you help build MICAH in Tosa to address Tosa social justice concerns? Join a Listening & Training Session on Thursday, April 20th.
A few UUCW members have been meeting with three other churches in Wauwatosa who belong to MICAH – St Matthew’s Lutheran, Wauwatosa Ave Methodist Church, and Mt. Zion Lutheran – to see if we can work together on social justice issues of concern to residents of Wauwatosa.
Since all good organizing begins with listening to the concerns of local people, the group is planning a “Listening and Training Session” on Thursday, April 20 from 6:30 – 8 pm at St. Matthews Lutheran, 1615 N Wauwatosa Ave. Members of each of the churches are invited to begin that process and to learn how to gather information from others in their congregations. Information from these conversations will be used in a June meeting to formulate an action plan for MICAH Tosa. Contact Ann Heidkamp if you want more info or want to attend.
