We live in times that challenge us to understand and, if possible, reconcile the sometimes competing notions of life among others and individual prerogatives. How are we to behave responsibly in communities of people rightly committed to the safety, security and well-being of everyone? And what are our reasonable expectations for personal privacy rights as singular members of that society?

About our Guest: Jim Santelle is a lifelong resident of Wisconsin. He graduated from Marquette University and the University of Chicago Law School. For some 30 years, Jim was employed by the United States Department of Justice, serving as a civil litigator and a criminal prosecutor. He served 6-1/2 years as the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin in the Administration of President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder. Jim also spent 3 years on the staff of Attorney General Janet Reno and 2 years as the Justice Attache’ and the Rule of Law Coordinator for the United States Mission in Iraq. Jim currently provides pro bono litigation services for indigent and other needy, underrepresented populations.
