Summer of Solidarity Series – Voting and Voting Rights

Loading Events

The sad loss of the great Congressman John Lewis reminds us that the fight for every American to be able to vote has been going on for a long time!  This Saturday, you can learn how WISDOM and EXPO continue that tradition with the “Unlock the Vote” Campaign.  You will also learn what every one of us in Wisconsin can do to ensure that EVERYONE in our very important state has their vote counted in November.

MICAH/WISDOM’s “Summer of Solidarity” Series
Join us every Saturday morning, from 10 am until 12 noon, for an interactive webinar that highlights a different issue. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner or an old-timer!

Each Saturday will each be dedicated to a different issue that people in the MICAH (Milwaukee Inner-City Congregations Allied for Hope ) and WISDOM networks are working on. Broaden your knowledge about issues you might not be working on yourself.

In the network, we are all striving for racial and economic justice; we are all working to build a more compassionate, equitable, sustainable community in our state and nation. We are trying to build the “beloved community” through many different kinds of campaigns. Through this Summer of Solidarity, you may discover a campaign you want to be part of or find a way to better understand the work of other organizers and to feel the deep connection we all share.
