Summer of Solidarity Series – Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women

August 8th, 2020

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women is a nation-wide issue.  Unfortunately, Wisconsin is not an exception to the problem.  On Saturday, you can learn more about the problem, about how it impacts families in our own state, about some of the amazing work being done by the Women’s Leadership Cohort to change policy and to provide direct help, and you will learn what the rest of us can do if we really want to help.

To register, just fill out this form. Then, you will be sent a link to join us on Saturday.

MICAH/WISDOM’s “Summer of Solidarity” series of Zoom sessions continues each Saturday morning.
Join us every Saturday morning, from 10 am until 12 noon, for an interactive webinar that highlights a different issue. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner or an old-timer!

Each Saturday will each be dedicated to a different issue that people in the MICAH (Milwaukee Inner-City Congregations Allied for Hope ) and WISDOM networks are working on. Broaden your knowledge about issues you might not be working on yourself.

In the network, we are all striving for racial and economic justice; we are all working to build a more compassionate, equitable, sustainable community in our state and nation. We are trying to build the “beloved community” through many different kinds of campaigns. Through this Summer of Solidarity, you may discover a campaign you want to be part of or find a way to better understand the work of other organizers and to feel the deep connection we all share.

We hope to see many of you for one or more action opportunities listed below. Please DO share this information with others!
