“Sustaining Community Trust in Uncertain Times”

Loading Events

We are in the midst of a substantial shift in human experience.  Although much of what is happening in our government can point to historical roots, there is a significant change in what we consider to be true – and what that even means anymore.  We’ll explore what has happened, what challenges we face in building communities of trust, and how we can keep ourselves moving forward into a world that works for each of us.

Our UUCW Adult Choir will perform beautiful music.

About our guest:  Rev. Mark Richards and his wife Christina came to Door County, WI in 2016 to serve as a hospice chaplain.  After spending 25 years living outside Boston, the couple found the tempo and temper in the Midwest much to their liking.  Mark was ordained by the First Parish in Concord, MA – UU in 2018.  In 2020, Mark took on the leadership of the Wisconsin UU State Action Network.  Mark’s ministry is focused on building communities where each unique expression of God’s spirit can live authentically.

Children and youth are invited to start the morning in the service before departing to their RE classes. The nursery opens at 9:45 am. YRUU meets at 11:30 am.

Visit us in person at 13001 W. North Ave., Brookfield, WI 53005 or online at https://uucw.org/livestream/
