About Our Guest: Roy B. Evans, Attorney at Law is a lifelong resident of Milwaukee and a graduate of the Milwaukee Public Schools (North Division). He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Education (Dominican College), a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Adult Education (Administration and Supervision) from UW Milwaukee, and a Jurist Doctorate (JD) Law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Roy is a dedicated educator and has been a private practice Attorney in the Milwaukee community for over 44 years. He has served on numerous government policy boards and committees as well as local non-profit boards. He is recognized for his outspoken advocacy on issues in particular impacting the lives and conditions of the African American community.
“ I believe that it is my personal and professional responsibility to always fight for fairness and justice as it relates to equal opportunity for all people. Especially those who are marginalized and continue to bear the burden of inequality and unfair treatment in their daily struggles to survive and move forward in their lives.
Roy is a member of St. Matthew CME Church and married to his wife Georgia for over 56 years. Attorney Evans is currently a Legacy Emiratis member of the Wisconsin Bar and recipient of the 2019 Frank P. Ziedler Award for his public service to the Milwaukee community.
