UUCW’s First Chili Cook-off will be a time to celebrate our beautiful Wisconsin autumn and share some laughter and stories with our UUCw family. Come and join the fun.
What: Chili Cook-off! 15 of UUCW’s best chili-makers will be serving Wisconsin-approved chili for a great Fall get-together and spirit lifter. You’ll be able to sample multiple chilis and vote for your favorite. How much? As much as you wish! Chili-makers are making veggie, white, and traditional chili as part of the event, and there will be a selection of desserts for cash purchase ($3 – $5.00 for bars and cookies and whole pies for $20.00). Thirsty? We’ll have soft drinks, water, and beer. We’ll be asking for an additional donation for the beer. Have kids who don’t like chili? We’ll have a special kids table with some kid-friendly food.
Where: UUCW’s backyard, Saturday, Oct 9th, 4:00 – 6:00. This is an outside, masks-on event (when not eating).
Cost: There is no cost for the event, but donations are appreciated. The suggested donation is at least $5 per person. They support the event and go towards the new UUCW multi-platform sound system.

Judging: All of us will vote for our favorite chili, and People’s Choice prizes will be awarded. We’ll also have a celebrity judge to give a special Judge’s Award.
We’d love to see you there!
