Women’s Book Group Discusses Author Gertrude Bell

Gertrude Bell (1868-1926), at one time one of the most influential women in the British Empire, was the best-known traveler in the Middle East and Arabia before World War I and helped to establish the state of Iraq. In May, members of the Women’s Book Group may read or watch anything about or by Gertrude Bell. We will meet on Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 pm to share our thoughts. All adults are welcome.
