What is UUA General Assembly?
General Assembly (GA) is the annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists, where we conduct the business of the Association, explore the theology of our faith, and embrace our mission and principles. If you haven’t attended before, GA brings thousands of UUs together who share an experience that inspires attendees and brings ideas back to their home congregations.
Serving as a Delegate
If you attend GA as a delegate, you also have the exciting opportunity to vote on business items on behalf of UUCW. As you familiarize yourself with those business items on the agenda, it is encouraged for you to reach out to other members of our congregations to gather feedback. The business agenda will be posted on the UUA website no less than 30 days before the Assembly. This year, we will be sending up to 6 delegates to represent UUCW at GA.
If you want to learn more about GA, information can be found on the UUA website.
Interested members should reach out to the Board of Trustees to inform us of their interest by emailing the UUCW Board of Trustees Or simply talk to a Board Rep after the service. Take the next step in your spiritual journey and connect with other enthusiastic UUs at GA this year!
