Voting is a right for everyone, and especially in this election year, everyone must exercise it. The Environmental Voter Project (EVP) is an organization whose sole focus is to seek out nonvoters with environmental leanings and influence them to get to the polls. Surprisingly, many eco-minded citizens do not vote. The EVP uses data analytics and predictive modeling to find these non-voters and influence them regarding the importance of voting without broaching environmental advocacy in its contacts. Find out how you can get involved at http://www.environmentalvoter.org

Environmental Voter Project founder and executive director, Nathaniel Stinnett, recently spoke at the monthly Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) meeting, and members of the Milwaukee West CCL chapter spoke at UUCW. CCL empowers everyday people to work together on climate change solutions. Together they build support in Congress for a national bipartisan solution to climate change.
