A message from the Board of Trustees
As we begin this new year, we anticipated the continued expansion of opportunities to gather as a community in person. Our major concern is always the health and welfare of our church community (which includes our beloved staff).
Recently the situation with Covid 19 has become more concerning. The new Omicron variant is spreading more easily, our hospitals continue to feel the strain of this surge, and we need to consider our staff’s welfare who must attend our services in person. In light of this, our Covid 19 Taskforce has recommended to the Board that worship services and meetings be suspended.
It is after great thought & concern, that we announce in-person worship services & meetings will be suspended starting January 3rd through the 23rd. The board will reassess this situation in a special session on January 16th.
You may be wondering what will happen regarding our special celebrations; the Diamond Jubilee and Suzelle’s Farewell. We need to celebrate these milestones. These celebrations will look different than what we anticipated but we will have them and they will be fantastic. There will be more news regarding those events in Realm posts & our e-news.
If you have concerns reach out to any of our board members.
With great thought and caring,
