Last week, Milwaukee saw a significant increase in ICE activity, resulting in six confirmed detentions. Many local families are now in urgent need of mutual aid and support. If you can donate, please use one of the options below:
- Drop off at the church: Place items in the MICAH donation box in the lobby by Friday at 3:30 PM. We will deliver them to the MICAH office that afternoon.
- Drop off downtown: Deliver items directly on Saturday, July 4th, between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM at Pumping Station Park.
Most requested items:
- Food: rice, beans, pasta, water gallons, cereal, flour, canned tuna, canned tomatoes, oatmeal, granola bars, seasonings, oil, mini candy, applesauce, peanut butter, baby formula, tortillas, diapers
At this time, it is not known if donations will be ongoing. More information on that will be provided when we know more. As of right now, the donations are just through July 3rd.
Our immigrant families need our help right now. All your donations will be greatly appreciated.
