New books are available in the library for your summer reading. Several books have been donated and added to the African American History Collection and the Welcoming Congregation Collection.
In addition, the library has purchased a copy of Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer. This book has been mentioned in several sermons at UUCW.
A God That Could Be Real: Spirituality, Science, and the Future of Our Planet by Nancy Ellen Abrams has also been added.
These books are all located in the NEW BOOKS section and can be checked out for four weeks. For more information, contact Carolyn Lawrence.
