North Avenue Construction Update for August

The next phase of the North Avenue Reconstruction work is scheduled to begin the week of Aug 23rd. Lilly Rd north of North Ave. is scheduled to reopen. Traffic on North Avenue by our UUCW is scheduled to be shifted to the south onto the newly paved eastbound lanes, while crews reconstruct the westbound lanes for approximately three months. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Be sure to drive on North Avenue with great caution and at a reduced speed as I see drivers get confused all the time. Access to our church and all businesses will be maintained. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change. I am very excited about the addition of sidewalks.
