There are many opportunities for meaningful personal enrichment in service to UUCW. Music is an excellent way for you to have fun, meet new people, feed your spirit, and participate in a vibrant, vital ministry to the church. Music at UUCW is all-inclusive. Everyone can participate as they feel comfortable and there are many offerings to suit your schedule.

Adult Choir – The adult choir performs music encompassing a variety of styles, from classical to gospel and folk to jazz. Singers of all abilities are welcome! The ability to read music is not a prerequisite of membership. The adult choir rehearses weekly on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm and performs 2 times a month at Sunday services.

Solstice Singers – The Solstice Singers will perform at our Winter Solstice service on Friday, December 20.

Children’s Choir – Children of all ages are encouraged to join; no previous experience is necessary. Performance dates are Sundays, October 13, 2019 and May 10, 2020.

Christmas Eve Music – All instruments and voices are welcome to participate in the Christmas Eve Chamber Group, which will perform at the 4:00 pm service on Tuesday, December 24.

Music Committee – The Music Committee provides support to the Music Directors in planning events, filing choral music, and executing the music program. Meetings are held before Adult Choir rehearsal the first week of each month at 5:45 pm. Committee members do not need to be members of any of the ensembles.
