Thank you to Jeanne Jarecki, Scott Shulick, and Heather Bartlett as they finish their time serving on UUCW’s Board of Trustees. Some former members are moving on to new church roles so we will all continue to benefit from their dedication and commitment to UUCW.
Please watch the weekly e-news for stories about the new members who will begin their term on the Board of Trustees.

I would just like the congregation to know how much I enjoyed my 3 years on the Board of Trustees. Holding the office of Secretary really allowed me to learn so much about how the church runs, annual and special meetings, and the ins and outs of the bylaws. I would encourage any member of the church to consider attending a board meeting or contacting me if you are interested in becoming a member for the 2022-2023 term as I am now on the nominating committee. Thanks again for allowing me to represent you and I hope to see you at one of the outdoor gatherings this summer.

Scott Shulick
It has truly been a pleasure serving on the Board these last few years. It is an amazing experience – one that enabled me to deepen my understanding of what it means to be a UU and what it means to serve while in a position of leadership, and for that I am grateful. We worked through many challenges and opportunities, from a building renovation to managing COVID to deepening our commitment to dismantling white supremacy. I want to express my gratitude to all the board members who served alongside me these last three years, and, of course, to Leslie Petersen, Vicki Banville, and Rev Suzelle for their ongoing insight and support.

While my term as a trustee ends, I will continue to serve UUCW and the Board in assisting in the sale of the east property and as a member of the Nominating Committee. As we move forward toward more in-person activity, I look forward to seeing you all in person very soon.
