From Rev. Suzelle Lynch

The UUCW Executive Team, Board of Trustees, staff and I are in conversation about the UUA’s guidance on planning for virtual operations for the next 12 months.  We are playing close attention to the shifting “safer at home” order here in Wisconsin, and the recommendations of local experts, as well as attending to the growing scientific understanding of how the virus spreads, and its effect on adults and children.  A year of “virtual church” may seem like forever – but doing everything possible to safeguard the health and lives of our congregation’s people, including church staff, must be our goal.  We are looking into the possibility of “phased re-opening,” even as we will continue to offer on-line worship, small groups, programming for children and youth, and pastoral care.  We will keep you informed every step of the way as plans develop – recognizing that UUCW is all of us.  In the meantime, we encourage you to be cautious as more businesses re-open under the loosening “safer at home” order (and the recent overturn of that order by the WI Supreme Court).  Please be in touch with your questions and thoughts.

If you have any questions, please contact Rev. Suzelle Lunch or the UUCW Board of Trustees.
