The Interchange Food Pantry (IFP) will receive non-perishable food items in November and December. IFP became a city-wide pantry with three locations in Milwaukee: Juneau Ave., North 19th Street, and Atkinson Ave. Due to the  pandemic and the state of the economy, IFP will serve approximately 45,000 guests in 2022 compared to 34,718 guests in 2021. 82% of our guests live in food desert areas. Children represent 47% of those served.

It is the goal of IFP to provide guests with quality food items to maintain or improve their health. It is not enough to provide guests with donated food that is available but unhealthy, high in salt, trans fat, and sugar.

Especially needed are the following:
peanut butter
canned peached, pears or other fruit
fruit juice
rice
canned tuna or chicken

There is a cost to providing proper nutrition; it means purchasing from local wholesale companies when donated healthy foods are not obtainable. If you would prefer to send a check to this pantry, please mail it to:
