Folks have asked me a few times if I have books to recommend related to sermons I give. I read, listen to radio and podcasts and watch films to shape my theology – or how I think about the mysterious. I also love discussing theology and have theological discussion partners. It helps me practice new ways of thinking and to plan new ways to do and act.

If you appreciate these suggestions, let me know,  and I will put together a list from time to time.

Queer is a Verb Inspiration

Here is that worship service I just did on “Queer is a Verb.” It had a lot o few concepts and listening again is worth it.

This is Alex Kapitan’s Blog – Alex just did an amazing blog on queer, its history, and meaning. I think it too would be a great thing for you to share with friends and family.

These are two great books and I quoted in the “Queer is a Verb” service:

“Radical Love: An Introduction to Queer Theology”

“Our Lives Matter: A Womanist Queer Theology”

Other books I like:

“Gender Trouble: Feminism and the Subversion of Identity”
